Newly released police documents reveal more allegations about Mayor Rob Ford's erratic behaviour, ranging from having prostitutes in his office to driving drunk and getting physically aggressive with staffers.

But the best part is the following:

After some of the staff resigned the office the Mayor offered the remaining staff members more money to stay in the office. Everyone's salaries went up a substantial amount." All the new hires were students right out of school, the document reads.

So much for 'respecting the taxpayer'.

Well not everyone will live up to Mayor Ford's standard of public service. If the staff will only stay on after raises it's just another sign that the only one that respects the taxpayer is the Mayor.

It's sad that it would cost more to replace the staff in terms of productivity and service cost value lost that it does to just bribe the people to ignore their 'moral' outrage that the Mayor is human.

And if that happens he'll likely be re-elected when he's released from jail just like Marion Berry was in Washington DC. ROTFL

The guy is still uber popular even after all his colossal screw-ups which goes to show just how politics has become a popularity contest and is no longer based on honesty, integrity and the ability to govern.

Might just happen. They're saying he's creating the most powerful brand for a politician on the continent and now garnering a lot of sympathy.

A lot of lawnorder, hang the druggies, rightie tighties are going to have to do some word eating tho. I guess coke just isn't the scourge it's made out to be, if you can become more successful when you reveal your use of it. Time to legalize it, why penalize people for selling or using a product that can have such a positive effect on people's lives. Things go better with coke. Also with drunk driving, sexual harassment and extortion.

Or a body bag, given the lifestyle he is living is not exactly healthy.

What I find funnier is that even as a drunken, drug-addled solicitor of prostitutes, he is far more competent than George Smitherman or Adam Vaughn. Both of whom seem intent on turning Toronto into a Canadian franchise of Detroit.

Difference between Adam Vaughan and a Jumbo jet...........the Jumbo once in a while stops whining.

Ford has just announced he's going to sue a whole bunch of people.
