Turkey says it is 'on alert' against possible chemical attack from Syria

Officials say Turkey is on alert against possible chemical attacks from Syria and has stocked food and gas masks along their shared border.

    You had better pay attention to this one. If Turkey is attacked, we're at war ... officially.
    It is our treaty obligation to do so.

    Yeah sure.

    Assad is winning against the terrorists, so what could he possibly gain by attacking a NATO member ?

    Just like what could he possibly gain by launching a CW attack 2 days after a UN team
    arrives to look for CW ?


    Turkey has been the biggest critic of Assad, you really have to take whatever they say
    with a huge rock of salt.

    Im curious does anyone know if there is a large group of Kurds at the boarder of Turkey and Syria. If so that would even shed more light on Turkey's actions.

    Turkey is also a friend and sponsor of the terrorists that Assad is battling.....and remember just a couple weeks ago they too had trouble between Islamists and those who want Turkey to remain a secular society.
