And this is why vegans that impose their diets on others should not be allowed to have pets.

Look at the brain damage a vegan diet causes in humans.....as demonstrated by this story.

Vegans make tasty pet food. I feed my cat mostly cow.

Not so! I know one couple who are both vegan, and are both active in the Humane Society. Their cats and dogs eat high protien diets, mostly meat based.

Because they are the not-stupid type of vegans.

I think the brain damage is already pre-existing in vegans  However, a purely vegan diet can have a seriously detrimental effect on the central nervous system if one is not careful.

Turning carnivores into herbivores? Good luck with that. Try feeding Tofu to a Siberian Tiger in the wild and see how long you last.

    n.

    1. A flesh-eating animal.
    2. Any of various predatory, flesh-eating mammals of the order Carnivora, including the dogs, cats, bears, weasels, hyenas, and raccoons

What part of carnivore don't they understand?

I usually just buy offal or leg cuts, and feed those to my cat. It's cheaper than the horsehead+maggot stew that comes in those cans. PDT_Armataz_01_32

Plus, my cat has trouble bringing down a full sized child. Not something they do in the wild.

One of the cat food commercials a few years back made me chuckle when they claimed that fish, chicken and beef were flavours cats naturally craved. The fish and chicken I can see but, I have yet to see or even hear of a barn cat tearing across a field to take down a cow.

Barn cats at my uncle's really liked it when we were castrating calves and piglets. You literally had to kick them out of the way.
