A North Korean ship seized in the Panama Canal on the way from Cuba was carrying obsolete weapons for repair, the Cuban foreign ministry says.

    Why should they? They have already been embargoed completely by the US and other countries. No real level of diplomacy can be conducted with Cuba by anyone close to the US, only logical that Cuba would turn to countries like North Korea, Russia, and China. They also lack the ability to repair many of those weapons so it is fairly logical that they would outsource it with China more than likely involved to some extent.

    If you decide to punish someone for breaking a bullshit rule, don't be surprised when they decide to start breaking real ones.

    Why am I not surprised you rush to defend every dictator and Islamofacist regime and leader around the world, every chance you get.

    You must really hate yourself for being trapped in the Imperialist West;
    go forth and live free with your brothers !

    Why am I not surprised you rush to defend the direct result of good ol Uncle Sam's Cold War system which has managed to almost completely alienate a good chunk of the world. One of the critical reasons the OAS will never be more than a shadow is because everyone south of the US remembers just how badly they were treated by the American placed dictators and don't care for a round two. The US had a chance to be the good guy when the USSR decided to hide bricks in their boxing mitts, instead they dropped to the USSR's level and dipped theirs in tar and glass.

    America created this Cuba, it beat the country black and blue, when it stood up America did it again, Cuba is now hanging out with the only people that have actually stood up to America. Cuba is doing the most logical thing by sending equipment they very likely can't repair to someone that can, that's capitalism, you should be proud, they're learning the system you love.

    Send the crew back to NK, seize the sugar (why waste it?).

    Sink the rest in a live fire exercise.

    You know it's amazing how 50 some years ago, a group of people decided that they did not want to be governed or controlled by a foreign power and did something about it, and, it pissed off that foreign power so bad that it had a hissy fit and attempted to invade. That foreign power screwed the pooch and lost. Now that tiny little nation which has better health care than the big foreign power has faced sanctions from the big bully on the block but does anyone really notice? No good cigars from those bad people, no fun in the sun, no good Rum. Oh wait, that is only if you are from the pissed off big kid. I can go and get excellent cigars and cheap rum and have a fantastic time in the sun because I am not part of the big kid on the block with my nose out of joint.

    Now if one goes back 300 hundred and some years ago another nation did that very same thing yet it is praised as one of the greatest nations in the world. One can only see the similarities yet the story is written differently.

    You didn't even read the article before you jumped to conclusions, did you?

    It's not weapons en route to Cuba that have been seized, it's weapons en route to North Korea FROM Cuba that have been seized.

    If you're going to insist on being outraged at least know WTF you're raging about, eh? :roll:

    The pictures speak for themselves and if you bother to research them you'll find they come from a Venezuelan newspaper that did an expos on Cuban hospitals.
