The Hamilton Tiger-Cats made the special announcement Friday afternoon, one day after reports surfaced that coffee-and-doughnut giant Tim Hortons had purchased the naming rights to the team's new stadium.
If I remember correctly the very first Tim Hortons store was opened in Hamilton, so I guess out of all the corporations out there naming the stadium after Tim Hortons is actually not a bad fit as it does represent the community a little.
Everything in Canada is sooner or later going to be called Rogers this and Tim Hortons that.
Oh no! Canadian companies are buying naming rights to Canadian properties! THE SKY IS FALLING!!!

You'd think that they'd shape the stadium like a doughnut.

Wonder if they could design a stadium that tastes like shitty coffee?

With sprinkles?

I'm sure they will find a way.

It's in Hamilton. It'll smell like the shitty coffee. Close enough, right?

I'm waiting for SC Johnson to buy the Sky Dome (that was built with ALL public money!) and re-name it the Ty D Bol Centre.
