Bay Area television news weirdly announces made-up names of Asiana flight 214 crew says NTSB told them, NTSB says it didn't.

    These idiots letting this go out on air shows that anything you see, hear or read from news sources is either completely suspect or just plain wrong.

    should have been Wei Tu Lo. However it sounds like thew entire Fuk family was the flight crew - Yu Dum Fuk, Sum Dum Fuk and Wun Dum Fuk

    I wonder if he figured the media would be smart enough to not run the names.

    The NTSB is throwing the kid under the bus. Interns do not make press releases for government agencies so that story is utter crap from the get-go.

    The NTSB is throwing the kid under the bus. Interns do not make press releases for government agencies so that story is utter crap from the get-go.
    This is a good possibility. Most NTSB technical employees are the world's leading experts in their field; you don't want to have to fire one over a dumb joke.
