Tony Kanaan wins his first Indianapolis 500

Tony Kanaan has won the Indianapolis 500 for the first time. Kanaan drove past Ryan Hunter-Reay on a restart with three laps to go, then coasted across the finish line under yellow when defending race winner Dario Franchitti crashed far back in the field.

Awesome race. Record number of lead changes, more than double of last year. Kudos to Tony Kanaan. He's a deserving champion.

It was kinda funny when they interviewed the second place finisher. Rookie driver in I think what was his first Indy Car race and he was complaining about coming in second

That would suck though. I'd like to see them adopt NASCAR'S green and white checkered if the "last lap" ends up being run under the yellow.
