Why have we come to the point where war appears to be the only solution? This is really a very scary world we have created.

What do you mean by "we"? There's only one psychopath to blame here and no one else.

"We" as in collective humanity? I don't accept that. There is a single source - North Korea.

Is it terrible to say "I wish Kim Jong Il was still alive"? He was batshit crazy, but at least he know how to politic and he understood where the line was. Kim Jong Un is like a bull in a china shoppe and the little shit has no idea what havoc he is wreaking. It says something when China asks you to calm down.

There's only really one thing that can stop this now from escalating: China.

They want to be a world super power? Then its time to prove it. They have the most clout over N. Korea and now is their time to use it.

But I think Kim Jong Un is so bat shit crazy none of this matters. They don't have the capabilities yet to attack America, but there threats and possible attempt to do so could wreak chaos.

Also, we should be taking them seriously. Their shutting down of that cross-border factor was a significant move. It was the only remnant of Korean co-operation left since the War.

I usually am not a bandwagonner, but tea leaves are on the wall here...this could very well be the biggest test of Pres. Obama's leadership. I feel for these poor starving souls in NK though.

They have no idea what's coming to them. I for tell if these morons launch a missile at the U.S. that it will be shot down and the U.S. will strike one of their military locations (not civilian) and show them, quite literally, whose boss.

I seriously doubt that A. North Korea can nuke anyone but themselves B. will, be crazy enough to actually start a war it can't win. C. Ever act like a reasonably sane administration.

The one gene to many garden gnome is living on borrowed time and I don't mean from the US or China but, from his own administration and if what I read was halfway true he and his advisors are using the rhetoric and home made threats of war just so the slaves and sycophants can be shown that he's a wartime leader of great resolve and strength who stared down the capitalist pigs thereby solidifying his position as a spawn of the previous two benevolent and great leaders.

But if by some odd chance his political brinkmanship resumes the state of war on the Peninsula it'll be over pretty quick because the South Korean military is as hard as nails and definitely isn't the one they had in 1950. So the first missile the human turd orders fired into South Korea will lead to such an unleashing of hell that it'll transform the Peoples Democratic Republic of Korea from a slag heap into a wasteland that won't be fit for human habitation for a hundred years with the only question being will it be the Americans, Chinese or South Koreans who initiate it.

This little clown is walking a tightrope both within his country and with the world community and if his actions trigger an international incident or a resumption of the war, he's gonna be the loser as either the former president of the Peoples Republic of North Korea or better yet, fucking dead.

But on the plus side if the Dim bulb does actually do something outrageous Hyundai will have a whole new parking lot from which to ship it's vehicles world wide.
