Ryan Smyth scored the winning goal in the first period and added another as Canada skated to a 7-2 win over HC Davos in the Spengler Cup final on Monday in Switzerland.

Great tourney by Team Canada. The guys played well...was most impressed with Dubnyk and my perenial favorite John Tavares. Rock on Team Canada!

Ya, if not for the Biggman Canadas team would have been short some NHL players, although other teams had NHLers too. If there had been an American team that so benefitted from the strike he might have deserved some thanks... just not from me.
