The Department of National Defence has confirmed to CBC News that Jeffrey Delisle is still being paid and will continue to hold his rank as sub-lieutenant.

    Once he gets sentenced, he'll probabally be stripped of rank. Then 99 years in CFB Namao Pen. Less than he deserves, but the worst they can give him.

    He's entitled too it until he is found guilty. Was the same shit with Williams. It might seem odd, but it's part of the process.

    He has been found guilty by his own admission and all he's waiting for is sentencing.

    It would be my guess that DND is in the throws of releasing him as we speak just so he's off their books and can't draw his salary in prison. So there's nothing to panic about here folks. This asswipe won't be a military member much longer.

    Does he at least have to pay back-tax on the $36K/year that he got from the Russians that he, presumably, didn't declare as income?

    I suspect he'll remain a Subbie (he can't be reduced to Private as he remains a commissioned officer) until the GG (IIRC) strips his commission.
