    What a bs article...
Household chores are just what they are, chores. No one likes them, but they have to be done. Suck it up and get your ass to work.

Modern couples are just that, both in the way they divide up the chores and in their perception of marriage, the co-author of the study, Thomas Hansen, told the Telegraph. In these modern couples, women also have a high level of education and a well-paid job, which makes them less dependent on their spouse financially, and therefore less apt to be trapped in an unhappy marriage.

I think that goes a long way to explain it. I would further add that households where the women do all the work are probably not happier households but rather religious/socially conservative families where divorce is considered taboo.

As someone fairly recently divorced... this article was quite hilarious.

I had no choice except to divorce him. He kept arranging the spoons in the cutlery drawer wrong.

I haven't met a woman yet who doesn't automatically, and frighteningly, turn as anal-retentive as Sheldon Cooper when it comes to making sure that the house and all it's contents are arranged "just perfectly so". No deviations (i.e. no guy stuff) are allowed!

F*CK... but I HATE when that happens!

    Nope... no choice at all!

Well all I can say is yes..........you could let that happen. For the most part they are right, but at some point all that frilly shit is too much and it needs to be pointed out and removed. Takes years but I'm happy with the balance I have now. The biggest dilemma now is: Area rug or no area rug.
I vote no......but there seems to be a revolving door of rug trials.

You have dogs, right? No area rug. They are a bitch to keep clean ;-)
