Isostatic rebound doesn't occur in Newfoundland?

Interesting but not unusual. Many islands in the Pacific are also sinking as the weight of the island dimples the underlying sea bed. No big deal, we live on an active planet and things like this are going to happen whether we like it or not.

Move Newfies to the mainland because they finished all their work, move Seperatists to sinking island closer to St. Pierre and Miquelon.

    Everyone wins!

I knew it! They all said I was crazy but I saw this coming in 1992 after returning to St.Johns after 3 years. I also concluded that the Rock was sinking by 3.5 millimetres per annum. Except, I did it for shits and giggs.

Oh crap......If Newfoundland sinks, that means all the newfies will be moving to Ft. McMurray and spreading out across Alberta....We need a plan to save their rock people...NOW!
