Research In Motion has announced more layoffs, a delay in the release of its new Blackberry smartphone and a deeper-than-expected first-quarter loss.

    RIM needs to free QNX before it dies. It's probably too late to save them, but it woul be a shame to see the OS go to waste.

    I cashed in my short position. Took it at $72, walked away as soon as soon as RIM slid into single digits. I'll post photos of the new fishing boat when I get back from my vacation. Thanks, Mr. Ballsillie, I believes I owe you a big, sloppy kiss. 8)
