"BartSimpson" said China has a space program and the USA doesn't. Thank you, Mr. Obama.
The budget's been in steady decline since 1993 - so the blame goes much farther than just Obama - especially considering previous governments did little to develop a replacement for Shuttle or the Apollo rocket.
It's time for people to realize the reason the USA became so dominant in the past thirty years was because of the massive investment in R&D and space technology in the 60s and early 70s.

But people will scream that money spent on "space adventures" could be better spent on other things, and we see where that has landed the USA.

what do you expect? You shipped your manufacturing base to China, then started borrowing heavily from them so you wouldn't have to raise taxes in the US and could maintain the illusion of prosperity and fight futile wars. The chickens are coming home to roost. Too bad chickens can't fly or you could use them to power your space program. (Once you figure out some sort of breathing apparatus for them.)
Bush had funded the Constellation program and Obama cancelled it and moved the remainder of the allocated funds to to general fund, without Congressional approval, I might add.

Their spacecraft and rockets look like copies of Russian technology. Am I correct?
Probably. The Chinese copy pretty much everything else on the planet, so why stop now?

Obama's fault. Period.
Put it on a T-shirt and wear it to the next tea party.
Naw, they're too liberal for me.
