Many Canadians don't know that the Vimy Memorial in France even exists, with many mistaking the monument -- shown on Canada's forthcoming new $20 bills -- for the Twin Towers, new documents show.

    Too many idiots , who thanks to the school system, know absolutely nothing of Canadian history and the oher part ofthe problem is there are a whack of folk who have canadian passports but have no sense or connection to Canada's past.

    Are the groups that don't like the image of the Vimy Memorial offended because it is on the $20 bill or do they want a more politically correct memorial?

    The groups arguing this have too much time on their hands to conjure up this.

    No doubt - it's just like the bill (the old 10 or even 20 maybe) that had a pic of the Parliament building flying the Red Ensign - lots of dummies used to think it was the American flag.

    I like the Vimy Memorial being on the bill, don't like the picture of a foreign head of state though. :rock:
