Perhaps Mitt Romneys vision of self-deportation is working, thanks to a poor U.S. job market and better prospects in Mexico

    Why is illegal in quotes?

This exodus would be much larger if either the Dems or Repubs were serious about stopping "undocumented workers" from working by going after the employers. Too many people make too much money from illegals for that to happen tho.

I'm calling BS on this. The timing on the same day that the US Supreme Court is hearing the Arizona immigration law is awfully suspect and it is doubly suspect given that neither Obama nor Romney are interested in securing our borders and it would be awfully handy for them if immigration were not an issue for the upcoming elections.

Nope - this isn't news. Been happening ever since the crash. I'm sure the droves are minuscule to the number you already have, and I'm sure are at least partly offset by more still coming across the border.

How do you get from, "Net Migration from Mexico Falls to Zero and Perhaps Less" to, "...leaving in droves"?

Fundamental lack of information it would seem. No one seems to know how many are coming, how many are in the US, or how many are leaving. This leaves lots of room for speculation and 'doing drama'.

Politically there a few people who would be pleased with 'leaving in droves' as it would be a feather in their cap.

    PC America.

Prolly some bullshit about these people not being documented at all,
so no one can decide if they are or arent.

Now, it seems, the problem may be solving itself. Mexicans are going home in droves, driven by pressure and lured by a better life

I haven't read anywhere recently where Mexico has suddenly become the land of milk and honey with everyone employed and enjoying a higher standard of living than they could have in the US.

So there's something about this report from the PEW institute that stinks and if Mexico does indeed offers a better life why did they leave in droves in the first place?
