Father, stepmother charged in cold case homicide

CTV Toronto - The father and stepmother of a young girl found stuffed inside a burning suitcase nearly two decades ago have been charged with murder, Toronto police announced on Wednesday.

The biological mother didn't know that her daughter passed away in 1994? WOW. Darwin award candidate for parent of the year.

What did you see in the story that was different than this?

The daughter moved to Canada with her father and stepmother. Bio mom, living in Jamaica, lost contact with daughter. It happens all the time, don't know what a Darwin award has to do with it. The comment just doesn't seem to have anything to do with the story.
