The federal government announced new legislation to provide safe drinking water in First Nations communities, but critics say the lack of firm funding is unacceptable.

    Seriously?? They don't want to pay taxes,but they take mine,THEN want more so they can have fancier water? What a joke.

    These guys want their own government and police but expect taxpayers to keep them clean. If you want to be self sufficient,then do it. Stop sponging off my tax dollars.

    Drinking water should be a basic human right in my opinion. While I'm no fan of being sponged off of but this issue has more to do with current funding expiring. I'm also no fan of Bennet but she has a good point on the need for a firm plan and consistent funding to address this problem.
