Hundreds of people who lost their licences after failing roadside breathalyzer tests are getting their permits back after a judge tossed out part of the B.C.'s tough law against drinking and driving.

What a shitty headline. Their licenses were only suspended, so they're just back on the road a bit sooner. And, these are all folks who blew between .05 and .08, so calling them drunks is a bit over the top.

We should just make alcohol illegal. It causes way more harm to society than pot. That way they could just have a 0 tolerance policy for drinking and driving - you blow .01 and you go to jail. Basta.
