Mr. Carpenter expects the government to implement its post-CWB strategy in the fall of 2012, and by his calculations, Viterra could realize an additional 6.5 to 9.5 per cent in earnings once the board is fully deregulated.

6.5 to 9.5 eh? They've already got a target as to how much more money they can squeeze out of farmers.

The last time our Conservative Agriculture Minister gave a speach on the Wheatboard's transition, he assured us that the government was in talks with Vitera, the railway and on and on to make sure everyone affected will be involved.

He never mentioned farmers once in that speach.

Pretty sure they're going to be affected.
