Sex is not an ordinary thing to do at night? Crap I knew I was a freak. As for her comp claim I'd have to know if she was practicing safe sex when she got injured :p

The woman's lawyer begged to differ, saying sex was "an ordinary incident of life," one that's rather common in motel rooms at night.
Ordinary incident of LIFE. Well unless she works in the sex industry, getting laid isn't part of her

Can they show that the sex is what knocked the light down? Otherwise she should be compensated.

I need to sue for "adjustment disorder" after reading this crap.

Srsly, if she's got some Medical Bills, Pay them, otherwise she can hump sand.

So she can sue for "internal damage"?

If she sued the hotel/motel, she might have a point. But her employer? All she's got coming at her, is unemployment. Oh, wait...

    True true.
Still, so wouldn't driving anywhere in that town be, but what if she had been in a car accident?

Her whole point is that if she slipped in the shower or something else happed to cause injury while on the trip she would be compensated, regardless that the sex wasn't part of her "duies" while on said trip.
Personally, I think she's just after a bit of a free ride and can't see that she missed enough time from work to warrant a comp claim.

She was required to be there. IF she had been in an accident on the way into town, or while looking for a place to eat, absolutely. Travel and its risks are part of some jobs. Fucking isn't for the vast majority of jobs out there.

Just wondering... if the guy was a gigolo, and paid for by the company, would she have a right to compensation?
If the guy was her husband/bf whose stay was paid for by the company, would she have a right?

    Ahhhh, details
