These neo-Nazis are just as bad as the Jihadis. That's why I'm dead against UK 'nationalists' like UKIP and the EDL.

They are just racist bastard nazis. They are being fed by the lack of real leadership on issues such as immigration and accommodation of immigrant groups over the mainstream.

If our leaders took sensible stances on immigration and integration instead of pandering to special interest groups, these nazi tossers would wither away.

As I admit islamist immigration and socialism are dangerous, I don't really understand how he thinks killing dozens of kids will 'enlighten' the public to those dangers.

Commonly used in hunting, the so-called dum-dum bullets are lighter in weight and can be fired with greater accuracy over varying distances.

God, I hate the media.

Hollow point bullets and lighter bullets are less accurate and have shorter ranges than solid point and heavier bullets and hunters don't use them because they're typically handgun ammunition and not rifle ammunition.

It won't. The problem with nutbags (Nazi, Islamic, etc.) is they don't understand that no one is impressed by their actions and, to the contrary, all they do is encourage people to hunt down and eradicate the nutbags.

Plus less likely to whizz through one person and kill another. Not this nutter's mission at all in keeping the body count down.

The media are such uneducated tossers.

I know. Back in the day we referred to Hydra-Shoks as a 'safety round' for sidearms because they didn't pass through a target. These jerks with their knee-jerk ideas about banning this and that frequently don't realize that they're making things even more dangerous with their ignorant bans.

    It gets worse:

Not only did this guy hunt and massacre children for fun, but the ThinkProgress: Norway Terrorist Is A Global Warming Denier.

You might know them as environmentalists, enviro-communists, eco-Marxists, neo-Communists or eco-fanatics. They all claim they want to save the world from global warming but their true agenda is to contribute to create a world government lead by the UN or in other ways increase the transfer of resources (redistribute resources) from the developed Western world to the third world. They hope to accomplish this through the distribution of misinformation (propaganda) which they hope will lead to increased taxation of already excessively taxed Europeans and US citizens.

Unfortunately, the media isn't what it used to be. Integrity and balance in reporting has largely been abandoned as journalistic principles. Basic research and fact checking also appear to have falling away... sad.

Let me get this straight, you're saying that his being a global warming denier is worse than his being a mass murderer?

I guess I forgot my sarcasm emoticon. I was kind of flabbergasted that anyone would consider it important to write a story on this guy's views on climate change considering that he just slaughtered a bunch of kids.

Thank you, Zip. Had me worried for a sec there, buddy.

And I suppose they're linking the AGW scepticism with killing kids in order to further malign sceptics as some sort of extremists simply for not accepting the apocalyptic prognostications of AGW believers.

It really is a despicable comparison to make.

+1 for use of prognosticatons in a sentence!

There was a complete story about this in yesterday's news, unfortunately everyone seems to have lost or changed their tune and this was all I could find.

Norway shooter used exploding bullets, doctor says

Meanwhile, doctors on Sunday said the shooter may have used special bullets that explode inside the body during the shooting rampage at an island retreat.

The chief surgeon treating many of the shooting victims said it is his belief that the shooter used bullets that explode inside victims and cause massive internal injuries.

Dr. Colin Poole of Ringriket Hospital in Honefoss, northwest of Oslo, said surgeons who have treated a total of 16 victims have failed to recover bullets.

"These bullets more or less exploded inside the body," Poole told The Associated Press. "It's caused us all kinds of extra problems in dealing with the wounds they cause, with very strange trajectories."

The bullets are lighter and can be fired over longer distances with better accuracy, according to ballistics experts quoted by AP. Hunters of smaller animals, as well as air marshals, most commonly use the bullets.
