Stalin had a few choice quotes that I am fond of for their brevity and for how they reveal the soul of the man.

Quantity has a quality all its own.

Death solves all problems - no man, no problem.

Everyone imposes his own system as far as his army can reach.

History shows that there are no invincible armies.

Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas.

Of course, 2 people with a "C" seem to have a problem with this.

    ..."C" for Conservative, not Canadiens.

Thanks for the history lesson Bart. I'm just not sure what it has to do in the context of this discussion?

You're the one who made the Godwin accusation to my relevant and on-topic post. If you want to be a Topic Cop then you might want to start by behaving yourself.

Well, good for the NDP. They won fair and square. It's what democracy is all about.

All you saw was 'Stalin' and you stopped there, I take it?

He'd said something that was relevant to the topic and I properly credited the quote.

That's not 'bringing in Stalin' on this topic, it's just
    quoting
    him.

    F*ck.

Very bad for Quebec. They only have 5 MPs here now. They will need to bring back Maxime Bernier for sure and even one or two others to the cabinet.

Or, you know, they just won't give two shits about Quebec since they won a majority without the province...

Quebec as a block vote in the Qubcois sense of things is becoming increasingly less influential in Canadian politics.

It's a reality reinforced by a majority government with only five seats in Quebec. That's one more CPC seat than Nova Scotia.

On the plus side Quebecers are getting more in to being Canadian
    .
They voted en masse for a federal party and decimated the Quebec nationalists in Parliament.

    All good.
