A teenager who admits he fired the gun that left a young Saskatoon woman dead in 2009 has been convicted of manslaughter.

    You shoot somebody with a rifle, not in self defense, it's murder if they die, not manslaughter.

    Strange story, using this it's easy to kill someone with minimal law concequences. Everyone just have to say "had a reasonable doubt as to how [the gun] was held, therefore reasonable doubt as to how the death was caused".

    What was a 16yr old doing with the rifle out in the open and firing it anyways ? There should be some accountabilty for that aswell

    Boy takes a hell lot to get convicted of murder in Canada.
