The Canada-U.S. border will once again be under intense scrutiny in the United States as a congressional hearing aims to push for tighter security measures along the much-maligned boundary.

I get quite irrited at this BS, It's the Mexican border we need to be concerned with.

It scares me that the Fat Heads that believe this are the ones "protecting" our security. Chucky Schumer needs to get his head out his ass.

There were "persistent and repeated" allegations from lawmakers that Canada is lax on terrorism, including claims that some of the 9-11 hijackers entered the U.S. over the northern border.

Ahhh gotta love the old deflect and blame someone else routine. Let's for a second entertain this notion and assume that "some" of the hijackers entered from Canada.
What does that tell you about how MOST of them got into the US?

But yeah, we're the security risk here

It's kinda weird really. Usually a Democrat president isn't such a dick towards Canada. At least not openly

Parts of Mexico are a literal war zone. The Mexican Army makes late night visits to Americans in the United States. Illegal immigrants sneaking in left and right.

I can't understand why the National Guard hasn't been deployed. If Canada had a border with Mexico and was ignoring the issues the way the US has I'd be livid.

It seems to me many Latinos in the USA are influencing these decisions.

The USA should seriously consider militarizing the border. I am sure as hell Canada would if he shared border with Mexico.

This is all just an attempt to reduce our exports to the US. We should be putting extra security measures in place on our 'terrorist oil', but of course that's going to cost them a little extra.

Wait what? The U.S. - Mexico borders brings in millions of illegal immigrants each year. As well as a crap load of illegal drugs and is quite literally a warzone. What does the U.S. do? Debate if they should setup a crap fence or not but when it comes to the U.S. - Canada border where the worst we bring in is Marijuana and fluffy kittens but they militarize our border? Maybe they mistook us for Mexico. Thinking maybe the Canadians were south of them.

Isn't it the responsibility of the US border guards to control who enters their country. 8O

It's suicidal liberalism in action. See, it's politicially incorrect to speak of border issues with Mexico where there's brown people but it's a-okay to crack down on Canadian border issues because that's dealing with (arguably) white people.

Nevermind that illegal aliens from Canada generally come to the USA to shop, start businesses, get medical treatment that they pay for on their own, or etc. as opposed to the Mexicans who come here as hostile colonists with the openly stated intent of 'reconquering' the American Southwest.

I think you put it rather well. Eric Holder is a total F up. He doesn't want to attend to the Mexican Border problem as he may be labeled non-PC.

It is much safer and easier to rail against the dangers of the Canadian side of the border, they might bring in too much maple syrup.

Janet Napolitano is another first class moronic asshole. She might even see it herself if she could ever get her head out of her girl friends ass.

You and I have met a lot of Canadians. We are here on this forum because of the character of the Canadian people. Do the fat heads in Washington truly think that that the Canadian Border is a clear and present danger? In one way I hope they know that they are full of shit and deep down know better. On the other hand I might hope that they are just honestly that stupid.

This is a hell of a choice. Yes, I am livid about the Mexican Border. That place IS a clear and present danger, but this hammering on the Canadian border just makes me sick.

I can't find ANY site like this in The States.

I think I am an inverse of Iggy, ie, there is a screaming Canadian in me dying to get out.
