NDP Leader Jack Layton returned Sunday to the popular Quebec talk show that helped jumpstart his rise in the province and vowed to defend the interests of Quebecers in Parliament.

Tovarishch Jackoff, like most of the NDP, is so out of touch with reality he doesn't realize it's the government that decides what is on the agenda.

It's politics... first consolidate the seats you have.
The NDP have over half their seats in Qubec.

consolidate = suck up big time

He should worry more about getting his non-French speaking accidental MPs speaking French before he dives into the cubicles of public servants.

Is this where Jack Layton begins to kiss the asses of Quebec separatists?

Seriously, this election was awesome.

    Welcome to the NDPQ.

Who wants to break the news to Layton that he isn't in charge of the Commons agenda ?

I thought this language nonsense was a provincial issue anyway, like where Quebec francophones have been playing ethnic-cleanser against the English for over forty years now.

Way to go Jacko, you just managed to make them even more obnoxious than they were with the Bloc calling the shots. :|

Well at least he's sitting down and talking about the work that he's going to do. Where are the Conservative MPs? That's right, dragging their fat asses down to the bank to pick up their paycheques. And to earn that paycheque all they have to do is keep their mouths shut no matter what.

What's wrong with Layton following what his electorate want? No story here. Just elected politicians doing what they are supposed to do.

Getting to work to pander to Quebec separatist interests isn't something I'd be happy over. I'd honestly prefer him just dragging his ass to the bank to collect his paycheque.

edit: The northern areas were in another thread and not the subject of commanderkais post. My apologies. I was just reading about that and it stuck in my mind.

Now the language question isn't about pandering to separatists since loads of francophone non-separatists view that as a good thing. I doubt any hard core separatists will vote anything but Bloc anyway.

Now, what about the pandering to QC Harper did?
