So what! Ultimately what is important is that HE is on the floor dead and not a Navy SEAL.

Agreed. Who cares if that pig fucker was unarmed. He deserved what he got, and I'm glad none of my awesome Navy SEAL cousins were killed.

Some may care because shooting unarmed people, even the really bad ones, is considered ungood. Some might wonder why the unarmed guy wasn't brought out to stand trial like other warcrimes practitioners are. Some might think that the US will look bad for executing someone in cold blood.

Certainly the ex-US army officer and consultant they were interviewing on the news tonight voiced those thoughts.

It's the logistics of it. To put him on trial would have been terribly expensive not to mention dangerous for all concerned and would have made him more of a martyr than he already will be. such trials have been

True. But justice vice revenge would have been done.

I agree. IMO, a fitting end for bin Laden would have been to see him tried and convicted and locked away in a dark cell with only a small window to see outside. He would never hear another human's voice nor hear another human's voice. He would become an unperson, forgotten by time.

But this double tap he took will suffice.

And risk Al Qaeda trying to help him escape with all that could come with that? Risk that the "warriors" would blow themselves up anywhere, just to push the US into releasing him? Hell no.

bin Laden does not know how to use a gun, he always had others do his dirty work.

Whatever the cause the world is better off without him.

As were they on the planes and in London. And, they were innocent. Bin Laden was far from.

In related news, for his role in the killing of Bin Laden, President Obama has been granted full US citizenship. :D
