The idea of an NDP minority scares me a bit. We need a diminished Harper minority to get the coalition happening.

Wouldn't that be cool if the NDP got the most seats? Nearly impossible, I know, but I would love to see what Harper would do then?

I hope the next cartoon from Fillibuster reads: "Can I prorogue the election?"

If the NDP had a couple of seats more than the CPC, I'm sure Harper would try every weasely way in the book to try to hang on to power. What would be really funny is if between the CPC and Bloc they had just enough seats for a CPC govt. Harper would be sucking Duceppe dick so hard we could hear it all the way out here in Vancouver.

Logically I want a CPC reduced minority, but with sufficient seats to have a legit claim to govern. But on an emotional level, an NDP govt supported by the Libs, would be great to see.

there are too many fiscal conservatives in the Liberal Party to allow the NDP to go full bore. I also have a couple of friends who vote NDP provincially, who are going to vote Liberal or Conservative because their federal counterparts scare the hell out of them. As I've said before the federal NDP is not the same animal as its provincial counterparts.

tax, tax, spend, tax, tax more spending. Any NDP government scares me, their platform would cost us almost a $100 Billion.

See the Fiscal Record of all Canadian Parties post. Running deficits seems to be a conservative thing as much or more than a NDP thing.
