Vancouver city council is debating a bylaw on public protests that could set a precedent for how cities across North America deal with free speech.

    Funny how no one wants to touch this one.

    People lost free speech rights during the Olympics, many said 'pooh pooh, they wont do it after'.........

    Yeah, sure.

    Big difference between free speech and putting up what appear to be semi-permanent structures on public property without a permit.
    Makes perfect sense. Cuz if by some bizarre chance, someone gets hurt by one of these structures, guess who's gonna get sued.
