    And the panic begins.

According to the paper, some people here have begun demanding that the Government start giving out potassium Iodine tablets...............just to be on the safe side. 8O

I guess if by chance some newby gives an incorrect reading from one of these monitoring stations, half of Vancouver Island is gonna end up in emergency.

Some countries are now testing everything coming from Japan.

Rad popping is said to be a new feature on the 2011 Prius. :)

What good is monitoring if we can't see the results anywhere?

I doubt we import much food from Japan. I'm much more concerned with food from China etc being tested for toxins.

    Clarification...

You're correct. It's minimal. I meant anything within proximity. Any of the fish and what have you we import from that area in general will potentially be at risk for lord knows how long. I'd like to see some sort of testing and regulation in place NOW, as opposed to waiting until we're all sprouting funky looking lesions, and developing wild and wacky blood disorders 10 years down the road.
