Oh, can you see the hypocracy coming ?

The EDL are thugs and extremists, starting violence and is named constantly.

But the demonstrators ( how many ? ) who start violence and get arrested,
and these apologists are.... concerned citizens.

    Yeah, ok...

This EDL doesn't sound like an organization I want in Canada.

It wasn't the EDL or their supporters that assaulted a police officer, which required a trip to the hospital. Sounds like they're the ones who are a threat to public order and anyone with a differing view or who wants to hear a differing view.

True, but sounds to me like their Protest was for good reason. Even Jewish groups are condemning this group.

I am not a violent guy,but I agree Canada needs to wake up. We are being infiltrated. There are extremist Muslims in the Country with an agenda and we really need to assess who gets in more carefully.

Why is it that Muslim groups can demonstrate and threaten the west, but that's okay. But a group that demonstrates against muslims are labeled fascists?

The EDL are fascists, no doubt at all. This is what happens when debate is stifled by the mainstream. Political correctness causes shit like this.

If the Brits openly discussed the issues of mass Pakistani immigration and the up/downsides, the EDL thugs and their message of hate would not resonate or find a sympathetic ear.

When you stifle discussion on sensitive topics like race, religion, immigration etc, the only voices heard are those of the extremists.

Because they obviously like Jews and are, in turn, liked by Jews?

The rally in support of Mr. Robinson was organized by the right-wing Jewish Defence League

The JDL, by the way, is more or less not aligned on left or right lines. They are absolutely militant, but 'right-wing' in this case is not accurate.

The EDL says they welcome Muslim members and it seems they do have a few who oppose militant Islam.

As a test, I wonder if our friend DD could join up? :?:

The different colours will attract the supporters and apologists for each group.
