Former Playboy Club bunny and Milwaukee police officer Laurie (Bambi) Bembenek, whose prison escape to Canada 20 years ago popularized the phrase "Run Bambi Run," has died.

People's reaction to this story greatly interests me. I'm delighted to notice this happens when criminals and fugitives manage to explain their stories.

The more detached, the more you hate and oppose. The closer and connected, the more truth and compassion.

There is more than enough independant evidence to support the fact that her rat-bastard husband was behind the murder.

The real shame is she died in a hospice of kidney and liver failure.

Guess she wasn't the right kind of celebrity.
