McGuinty has some monster green energy programs going on, although I forget the details. He has billions for the rewiring alone for solar energy, I haven't heard if this is actually going forward or just announced.

He has billions for green energy and for transit, all not well thought out - basically without arithemetic bookkeeping. He is closing lanes in mid town Toronto arterial streets to make them dedicted Light Rapid Transit lanes. The traffic will be screwed. Meanwhile people don't know who Opposition Leader Tim Hudak is - the joke is he's Tim Whodat. Whodat may pick up some support as will the NDP but not knock off the Liberals. A Ottawa style hung Parliament with the government supported by the opposition would be possible.

Solar energy, the guys a champ of the improbable.

Electricity is already heavily SUBSIDIZED by the Ontario government. It's not "taxing the shit out of you" when it costs $0.80/kwh to produce electricity and its being sold to Ontarians for $0.45/kwh.

The $0.80/Kwh produced by windmills and solar panels with 20 year contracts to supply us with expensive energy. Go Dalton go.....

Another 'green' move that we plebs have to pay for as Samsung enjoys guaranteed profits and subsidised development.

I'm no fan of Dalton McGuinty, but the only reason my hydro bills have been massive is because my hydro company likes to gouge new customers. I"m expecting my next bill to be a lot more reasonable.

Remember, you folks are saving the world by paying through the nose for basic services.

Yep, subsidised windmills and solar 'power plants'. These green jobs did really well in Spain and Portugal.

Ok, they are bankrupt but hey, they have windmills and expensive hydro. Well worth it.

We are head for an energy crisis combined with a problem with CO2 allegedly warming the whole planet. Government will get it's hands on every aspect of the problem. Even now there are Green Elephants emerging so the future of government programs is going to be worse.

What scares the hell out of Me is that The Ontario Liberal Government has yet to be honest with the cost of anything.
If Duncan is saying 46% it screams to Me 92% at least.
