Someone should make a law one of these days for a minimal approval rating on political leaders.

Geez I'm amazed there hasn't been a few more riots in BC over this stuff.

He'll be heading up again shortly. The NDP is starting to cannibalize itself, and Gordo has reversed course, says deficits aren't a bad thing after all and is pulling out the checkbook. He's learned well from Wacky Bennett - dole out the bitter medicine at the beginning of the term, then bribe voters with their own money when it gets close to election time. This time he had to start the bribing a lot earlier because he miscalculated with the HST.

Maybe this is a clear sign for the BC Conservatives to take a lead in BC.

    Um....Social Credit = right wing

BC Liberal Party = same right wing... They are the conservatives.

The Social Credit party was the "conservative' party in BC for generations, then they shit a pot full and got annihilated by the NDP. What did the conservatives do? The took over the Liberal Party that was gaining strength in BC at the time. It was funny to look at the first leadership convention of the "Liberal" party, nothing but former SoCred MLAs and cabinet ministers......

The HST furor has brought out a bunch of right wing parties, including the BC Conservatives. It would be good if we followed the federal scene and actually had Conservative, Liberal and NPD parties.

It's so funny to watch the BC conservative party these days. As QBC said... all the mainstays of their movement were absorbed in the BC liberals. All that is left were the flakes and the rejects and it shows. They can't organize ants to a picnic. Meanwhile the NDP is imploding, they lost how many senior members this week? And I swear to god the Green party is a front by the Liberals as well for all the good they do by vote splitting. Gordo could be Hitler himself and the libs would still sweep.

At 9% approval, yer no longer a politican, yer a friggin dictator if you insist on retaining the position.

Lol, that'd be a little political fact of life I didn't think about.

Great. :( Hopefully he does the right thing and Resigns so that the Libs can replace him before the next election.

I did the first time - had to get rid of the NDP. But when he did things like taking away bus passes from seniors to save his govt 250,000, I realized what an asshole he was. He's just about enriching his developer buddies while beating up on the poor. And we have the much worsened DTES to show for it.

At one point BC lost it's "have province" status. How's that going? I assume that was some sort of dip and things are better. Ontario lost it's have status a couple of years ago. It's a technical word, definition - these places still net transfer out.

I realized a long time ago that I almost never vote to put someone in office, only to get someone out. :?
