A Halifax man is facing a $2,410 fine after he was clocked going more than 50 km/h over the posted speed limit.

    so, what was the speed limit and what was the speed he was clocked at?

    cuz, in Alberta, its extremely easy to get busted for 50kmh over the speed limit, if he's doing 111kmh on a 110kmh hiway while there is an emergency vehicle on the side of the road ( 60kmh rule).

    No mention of WTF he was driving, although I'm pretty sure it wasn't his grandma's Pony. :lol:

    I can remember hearing about some kid in Ontario a couple of years back who got caught going around 230 KM per hour in a Lincoln LS, which I would never have believed possible. 8O

    So I guess it's not so much about the vehicle you use, as it is about the brain cells you don't.
