The conservative right wing do a good job with their childish negative ads that finger point and belittle any one who opposes their right wing fundamentalist ideal.
If the press and others took the time to listen the M. Ignatieff they would form a different opinion of him. We need a change in government to restore democracy in this country. We have had the autocratic dictatorial regime of harper too long. Canadians are fed up with it, esp.in the east. Even the appointment of a new GG has brought to the forefront harper's appetite to parogue parliament as a delay and stall tactic to buy him more time on the throne. I am attending a lucheon with M.Igntieff to-day and I will work my ass off and donate $$ to get the liberal candiate in my riding elected! good bye ass hole harper!

If he really wants to restore faith in the political process, then he should quit the party and politics altogether, then leave the country. Self-exile to a remote island could work as well.

Passionate, progressive & reforming alternatives? Sure would like to hear them. Nothing new from the liberals in ages, thank god they lost and lost big, hopefully next time around Canada will give Harper a majority and then things can be fixed without having to listen to the naysayers. Canada is much stronger today than if the libs were in power. No more broken promices from the libs, GST and the carbon tax are enough to banish your party for all time.

There will be no retraction, no apology offered and no backing down for Michael Ignatieff, who kicked off a cross-Canada tour in Calgary by likening Prime Minister Stephen Harper to the devil.

"We had a little bump in the road near Hawkesbury," Ignatieff told the supporters. "There's a little rumour circulating that Stephen Harper was seen stealing away in the night with motor oil on his hands."

Yeah, great to see Iggy take the high road.

I guess the dictator from Shawinigan was okay because he was a Liberal.

You are truly a one-trick pony complete with Liberal party blinders. As for being fed up with Harper, in Eastern Ontario townships we are hoping for a Conservative majority rather than ANY Liberal government.

I'm hoping for a leader whos honest, has integrity, and wants whats best for Canada and Canadians, one who will fix the Justice Ssytem, especially with young and repeat offenders, one who will fix the CPP and EI system, one who will work with all provinces to fix the Health Care system, one who will fix the education system.....

Ha aren't we all, never happen.

You don't quite get it there Kenmore. Ignatieff has pissed off his caucus. He doesn't listen and they have had it with him. The media is reporting the caucus is "restive" and that Ignatieff has lost control of the Party. They are manouevering to deal with another control freak, without actually going public witht the problem. That's the diplomancy going on. I have money riding on a Liberal resurgence, donated to Ignatieff's leadership campaign but have no hope with him. I have diplomatice letters from three front bench MPs that Ignatieff won't listen to them.
