I'm sure both of his statements were accurate. We know that some Chinese immigrants are working for the Chinese govt, and a court case proved that at least one Chinese-Canadian newspaper was being paid by the Chinese govt to distribute propaganda. I'm sure that the TO 18 weren't the only nut bar jihadis in Canada either, so there are likely new plots being hatched. So taking a pollyanna attitude doesn't seem very helpful.

The only question is what he's hoping to gain be publicly stating all this info.

I hope everyone else isn't worked up enough to start a panic of nationalism were we all start lynching our neighbors for having an odd skin tone and a funny accent.
