TORONTO � The Dalai Lama is coming back to Canada this fall. The exiled Tibetan leader will speak at the Rogers Centre in Toronto and open a new Tibetan cultural centre in the city in October.

    The Chinese won't be very happy about this. They will probably say something to the effect that the Peoples Republic of China opposes his visit.

    I hope the PM has the common Sense and the good graces to tell them to fuck off and Canada will see who it wants to see.

    No, The PRC won't get that pissed off. The will probably call him him up and "suggest" he cancel the visit to improve relations though.

    As for China's "Arctic Rights" BS, they will take their cue from what Canada does with the Indian Compensation BS. I have no idea why PM Harper feels the need to send them a dime.

    It's amazing that the PRC hasn't approached the Russians with their assertion that they should get 20% of their Arctic Resources. I guess that know that that discussion would be brief.
