G20 protesters clash with Toronto police

A thick blue wall stood between 2,000 chanting protesters and the three-metre-high security perimeter fence that rims the G20 Red Zone.

I have a feeling the police have several undercover protesters, and it is through their information that they are responding this way.

They have to have undercover officers. There are a shitload of criminals, masquerading as protestors, who need to be identified.

Agreed and it is partially that reason why they have such a hard stance this year against the protesters, I think they feel there is the potential for this to turn very very bad.
