RIP Phil. You lived life well, you worked hard and you lived hard. You will be missed.

A lot of people, my wife included, love Hollywood Stars. I could care less what Paris Hilton or any of those other inhabitants of Tinsel town have to say.

I find real life people like Phil Harris the other Captains and crew and other people in real life far more interesting.

I absolutely agree! R=UP Real life. Real people. That's the only type of TV show I find any enjoyment in watching.

Yup - only kind of "reality" show that I'll watch. Well that and Ice Road Truckers

Did you see the Ice Pilots NWT? Great show!

Well, that sucks donkey balls (not that it's surprising to anyone who's watched the show for any length of time).

Tue Phil's diet was horrible lined with huge amount of fats, he smokeed at times two cigarettes and the time and he drank Red Bull by the case. I remember him going to the Hospital in pain smoking a cigarette before going in. I had a coach who lived that life style and it killed him too.

I was very sad to see. He was so full of life. He was the type that you wish was your uncle or something. I will miss him.

On History, they have the Axemen, a reality based program about loggers. Some operations are small and struggling, while others are quite well off.
