Could be a gas explosion. If there was a gas leak in the basement or crawlspace of the house then that would do the trick. We had such a thing happen in Sacramento a year or two ago. http://www.kcra.com/news/18354980/detail.html

Our local radio station 100.3 the bear was reporting this morning that Someone knew the first guy that died and he was an apparent meth dealer, or somehow involved with meth......

As for natural gas there would have to be a very large build up to cause the damage that we see today. Since it was 1 in the afternoon I'm sure one of the 4 men would have smelled the gas.

Guess we will have to wait and see. If it's a meth house I would imagine there will be a large crack down on meth labs/dealers...

From the story, I get there are 3 men and 1 woman dead. 2 in the neighbouring house. How would they have smelled gas?
Other thing, the "first guy" that died? Methinks all 4 died at the same time, and 2 bodies are not yet identified...

Again, I am getting this from this story, not from that radio show...

Maybe I'm thinking of another gas but I thought that since Natural gas was normally orderless that they put something in it to give it an order so it can be detected if leaking.

You will only smell natural gas if it is in an area where you can smell it. If it concentrates in a basement or crawlspace or even in the soil (as has happened in some places) you will not smell it. But you will notice the effects of a stray spark.
