Parks Canada says it's not interested in running two lighthouses in Nova Scotia that have been declared surplus even though they sit on national historic sites.

    Lighthouses although not the navigational necessity that they once were do reflect a lot of the history and culture of an area. It says alot about the community. If they are allowed to deteriorate that says something about the community too.
