Record, indeed. I guess I can see how their computer systems has problems keeping up with that rate of orders over a long period -- 600,000 orders in a single day is nuts!

I'm sorry but most people don't need a cell phone, it is now just another fashion accesory.

I've used mine quite a bit, if wanted to go out and buy a new pair of shoes I can google for a pair I want, find a store that sells them, get the address from yellowpages then get directions to the store from my phone. Hell if my wife and I get an iPhone 4 I can video call her and show her the shoes I want and see if she wants a similar pair. When I goto the gym I could load up a movie and watch it in HD as I run on the tredmill.

Absolutely. I wonder why people want to spend $550 on a cell phone, but buy their clothes at Walmart...

There's nothing wrong with accessories. There is something wrong with addiction to accessories tho.

What would qualify for an addiction?

The need for the latest, the sweating when forgetting your phone because you can't check up on your FB status, the panic when not having the "hottest" phone, the doing everything to get the latest, including not eating because you spent all your money on the damned phone while you have the second latest...

    There are people like that...
