OTTAWA Spending habits arent the only things MPs want to conceal these days their attendance records are also off limits to the public. Despite rules docking MPs and senators pay if they miss more than 21 days of work during a sitting of Parliament,

We ELECT these fucks into office and when there they want to conceal if they come to work or not. WTF is going on with our government/country? This is absolutely rediculous. Liberal or Cons, it doesn't matter anymore....they're all circle-jerking eachother and laughing all the way to the bank at us!

What made you think they work for us? Silly voter. We get the government we deserve.

I suggest you read my blog entry about that. Unless Canadians actually revolt to get the system changed, it won't matter who the hell gets elected. Unfortunately it seems that voting only encourages the bastards.

The main thing is that you have the right to choose, what "fuck" will "work" for you :)

Of course, does it even matter if they show up when the party leader can threaten their position in the party if they don't vote the way the leader wants them to vote and to hell with their constituents?

Party is all that matters in Parliament. Constituents, well, we are just an inconvenience.

I disagree with you though, if you were implying that we should abstain from voting as a means to change the system. It won't do anything, except to show apathy on the part of the voters and encourage more of this foolishness.

Camp out at constituent offices, and bring their attendance records to light at debates during elections. That gets their attention. Except, I notice the last few elections my constituency didn't even hold an all candidate debate.
