Calgary produces more carbon dioxide per person in an urban setting than smog-filled Mexico City or New York City, according to a report by the United Nations.

    How? Other than the fact the oil refineries and one of the largest ports in the world are located there...

    That said, where are the eastern european countries? They still burn brown coal...

    Nationaly we are at only 2% when it comes to global emissions. Collectively we aren't the big bad guys when it comes to this. But its the west so its ok to not look at the big picture.
