No, the media are as dumb as horses with blinders on sometimes they focus in on irrelevant shit merely to reveal their own partisan hackery. That's if you have the acumen to see it of course.

"He remained polite. He didn't pull a Helena apparently."

    "loosing his cool" ??? ROTFL
Just like any other passenger, upset that his shit was getting thrown out. No story here.

Of course you're keeping in mind that the above mentioned quote was said by a Tory staffer.

The minister did not inform the Prime Minister's Office and never apologized.

    Euhmm, duh?

I think they should have emptied it in his presence, or have him empty it. Confiscating alcohol is one thing, but to then use it for own consumption?

I don't think it really matters; either way you're losing it.

Last time I forgot some liquid in my carry-on, the screening officer asked me politely if he'd mind if he dumped it out. OF course, I said no, and he had to leave the room to empty it. Was I worried that he was drinking my water? Not really.

I would have asked that it be poured out in front of me too. What's the big deal? Better that then some security dude taking it home and drinking it. Like THAT'S never happened before.

I don't see a headline referring to this incident in either posts since last visit nor recent topics scroll. And no, I don't open every post if the headline doesn't interest me.

    Check the front page.

There's a news link with exact same title and it's marked a top story, with a picture and +11 rating...

I have bookmarked the forums page - never knew the front page existed. But what, now you expect me to scroll thru all those headlines to see if it matches one I picked up from yahoo, or the newspaper? What's the big deal anyway?
