The quake hit at about 10:50 p.m. local time, according to Earthquakes Canada. Its epicentre was 13 kilometres northwest of Lachute, a town of about 12,000 located 75 km northwest of Montreal.

An earthquake will cause flooding in Richmond, as the whole city is below sea level.
Downtown Vancouver with the building density and high rises will be one big grave stone.

Richmond will not flood, with liquefaction the whole island will just disappear!

As will a lot of Delta. A 3.9 ...pffft someone sitting close to the seismograph just ate too much poutine a few hours ago.
Hopefully the airport in Abbotsford would useable if Vancouver has a big one in our lifetime.
