Ford receives Ontario government aid.

The Ontario government will invest up to $81-million to help retain and create up to 757 jobs during the next five years at the Ford Motor Co. Essex Engine Plant in Windsor, Ont.

i'm surpsised dalton didn't dump some money in the 2 by-elections in eastern ontario as he has brough new meaning to the term buy-election . although windsor is a liberal area provincially so there trying to save those seats .

They also got a whack of dough early in Harper's stint as PM. Maybe their "bailout" is going to be completely under the table.

How convenient how some of you forget Toyota also recieved government aid....

For example...

The latest example came Thursday, when Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. (TM-N74.830.931.26%) said it will add 800 jobs and double production at its new Woodstock, Ont., plant � a factory that would not exist without $125-million the two governments made available when the auto maker was seeking a new site in 2004 and 2005.
