LAHORE, Pakistan - A Pakistani court has ordered the noses and ears of two men cut off after they did the same thing to a young woman whose family spurned one of the men's marriage proposal

    So let me get this straight...

    An eye for an eye, plus 50 years in jail and paying a fine?


    Anyone still against Sharia law?
    (except for me, because I think 50 years and a fine would be plenty... Here you get 5 for murder...)

    The physical disfigurement is branding and seems harsh to us but I don't believe these spiteful ghouls should ever enjoy mariage. It's possible that these men might serve their time and fines and still enjoy a life after prison but that's going to be harder when their branded as criminals.

    If they choose to keep up their old world retribution of disfiguring woman who don't want to marry them, then they deserve old world justice.
