Good. In the old days they used to hang pirates, unfortunately it isn't PC to do it these days. What a shame.

Why do we not blow the pirates out of the water and their country off the map.

Why don't we wipe Colombia off the map for their cocaine, Russia for their mafia and weapons exporting and Mexico for its illegal refugees and drug cartels.

    O wait...it's PC not to.

Then we should just blow ourselves up for killing millions of innocent people, right?

The French likely did just that a month or so ago when a pirate ship mistakenly attacked their flagship. The French warship, replete with cutting edge side scanning radar, night vision, and 24/7 orbiting UAV coverage reportedly "lost track" of the pirate ship after the French warship returned fire. Right.

Translation: The French either blew the pirate ship out of existence in one shot or they holed it, let it sink, and left any survivors to tell their tale to the sharks.

The Dutch are going to sentence the pirates to two years, sitting in a window in Amsterdam.

Stupid idea. Now you arrested them, WTF you gonna do with them? Try them WHERE and FOR WHAT?
Sounds like the French knew what to do!

I jut read in the Dutch news (couldn't find an English link) that they had to let them go. The Seychelles or the Falklands would not try them. And that while the EU has an agreement with them, that they would.

WTF are we doing arresting pirates? Don't they just shoot a couple 20 lb balls through the hull of the boat and take pictures?
